This chapter sets out the principles of good practice that should be considered by organisers of events involving vehicles, from vintage car and traction engine rallies to motor cycling meetings and ploughing matches. However, it is industry guidance and does not necessarily cover everything that event organisers need to think about for a particular event. No two events are the same and each needs an individual risk assessment. The advice is offered as guidance only.
