This chapter has been developed to assist event organisers understand the correct practices required for the safe use of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). It outlines the key things to check when setting up and using LPG appliances and cylinders in line with The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, and the relevant codes of Practice including Code of Practice 24 - Part 3: Use of LPG for Commercial Catering Events, Street Food and Mobile Catering and HSE guidance (L56) Safety in the installation and use of gas systems and appliances.
